New Innovations is an electronic residency management system. It can be used from any computer with Internet access. To begin:

  • Go to
  • Click on "Client Login"
  • Enter "LLUMC" (all caps)
  • Enter your username and password as assigned by the GME Office
  • Choose "EM-Pediatric Emergency Medicine" as your department and click "continue"
  • This will take you to a personalized welcome screen just for you
  • You can view Powerpoint tutorials for various components in New-Innovations by clicking on "Help / Additional Tools / Training for Residents"
  • The tutorials will assist you in becoming familiar with the basics. However, feel free to contact any of the current fellows or Dawn for additional assistance

Fellows are required to use New-Innovations to:
  • Log in all duty hours
  • Log in procedures
  • Year-end program and faculty evaluations and John Byrne survey.
  • Anything else deemed necessary by program director
  • GME requirements will be listed under checklist. All things on checklist must be completed prior to starting a new academic year.
